In the Studio with Vanderbilt Volleyball: Isabella Bareford
Coach Nelson on Isabella Bareford… The first word that comes to mind to describe Isa is grateful. She knew from our first conversations that this was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up and has been grateful for all her experiences on and off the court so far. We believe Isa is one of the best distributors of the ball in the country. She’s gutsy, confident, and smart. It’s going to be fun watching her lead our first team.

Why Vanderbilt?
“Vanderbilt has an unparalleled quality of education, athletics and location. I want to make a difference for this team, the university and the community. Few people have the opportunity to start a program and ‘dare to be first.’ I’m looking forward to helping build the foundation for Commodore Volleyball and its future success. I’m extremely grateful to Anders and the coaching staff for their belief in me.”
