Coach Nelson on Kayla Dunlap… Kayla’s a sponge—she wants to learn and improve every day. She’s got a lot of offensive versatility and has made strides with her blocking this spring. She’s shown she can impact matches on both sides of the ball and glimpses of elite-level play. She’s young for her class and may still be growing, so adding strength will be key for her first collegiate season.

Why Vanderbilt?
I never thought about staying in state for college. Russ, Lauren and Anders helped me realize that having my family close after moving around meant the world to me. They instantly connected with me. I planned on a school with challenging academics. Nashville is home, and it always will be.
