Coach Nelson on Avery Scoggins…Avery eats, sleeps, and breathes volleyball. She does what great setters do and consistently puts her attackers in great situations. We’ve been particularly impressed with her playmaking ability, which consistently puts her team in a position to win. Being voted a captain so early in her Vanderbilt career says a lot about the respect she has earned from her teammates, and it’s one of the many reasons we’re excited about Team 2.
