The Fawcett File
Cameron Fawcett was a letterwinner in cross country and track and field at Highland Park under head coach Susan Bailey, where she recorded prep-best times of 2:17 in the 800 meters, 4:55 in the 1,600 meters 10:46 in the 3,200 meters and 17:29 in the 5K (XC). She is a three-time member of the all-state first team and was the 2020 5A-6A CCAC Cross Country Athlete of the Year and runner-up at the state cross country championships. Academically, Fawcett is a two-time all-state academic first team selection and a two-time Cornerstone Scholar Award winner.
Personal
Cameron, born in Dallas, Texas, is the daughter of Jill and Mike. She is the oldest of three children, and her younger brothers’ names are Luke and Zach. Her mother was a cheerleader at LSU. A fun fact about her is that she can run a 4×100-meter relay with a shopping cart in 63 seconds.
