Anjarae Washington Season 2007-08

2007: Experienced with 400-meter hurdles and middle distances while running relays during junior campaign… Best outdoor race came on 800-meter split of distance medley relay at Alabama Relays… Set season best indoors of 2:20.69 for 800 meters at the Indiana Relays… Scored valuable team points at Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships as member of distance medley relay that claimed sixth.

2006: A one-time heptathlete, Washington completed in middle distances, hurdles, long jump, sprints, javelin and high jump… Achieved 4,160-point heptathlon at Sea Ray Relays… Indoors, competed in hurdles, high jump and relays.

2005: Competed in numerous events, from high jump, long jump, high hurdles and 200… Competed in pentathlon at SEC Indoor Championships… Also ran numerous relay legs.

In High School: Senior MVP and co-captain… Holds three team records… State qualifier in hurdles, high jump, triple jump and pentathlon.

Academics: Washington is working toward a degree in civil engineering.
