2007: Became just third Commodore to reach 19 feet in the long jump… Recorded PR of 19[apos]7′ in long jump at Vanderbilt Invitational that earned runnerup individual effort… Performance at home meet ranks No. 2 all-time on Commodore outdoor charts… 19[apos]6.25′ effort at SEC Outdoor Championships resulted in 13th place result… Jumped beyond 19 feet at four different meets… Also posted efforts of 19[apos]5.5′ at Alabama Relays and 19[apos]0′ at Indiana Relays, and winning jump of 18[apos]10.75′ that captured Sea Ray Relays individual title… Notched team all-time Top 10 efforts in the 100 meters (12:30, No. 5) and 200 meters (25.21, No. 9)… Part of 4×400 meter relay team that finished ninth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with 3:45.89 clocking… Competed in sprints, long jump and relays during indoor season… Member of 4×400 meter relay team that finished eighth at the SEC Championships… Missed SEC finals in long jump with 18[apos]6.5′ clearance… Set indoor long jump PR of 19[apos]0′ at Indiana Relays, moving Smith to No. 3 all-time on team charts.

2006: One of Commodores[apos] most versatile perfomers… Competed in five different events outdoors… Became Commodores[apos] all-time No. 3 long jumper at Vanderbilt Invitational with leap of 19[apos]3.25’… Also surpassed 18-foot plateau at Indiana[apos]s Hayes Invitational… Was team[apos]s second best 200-meter runner, with PR of 25.36 coming at Sea Ray Relays… Competed in both the long jump and 200 at SEC Outdoor Championships, but did not qualify for finals… Also was team[apos]s second best at 100 meters… Ran leg on school-record setting 4×200-meter foursome effort at Sea Ray Relays… Top events during indoor season were 200 and long jump… Ran team[apos]s second best indoor 200, 25.84, in SEC Championship heats, but did not advance to finals…Top indoor long jumper with 18[apos].25′ effort at Kentucky Invitational.

In High School: Three-year captain of track squad… Earned four letters in track and one in volleyball… Three-time participant in 400 meters and long jump at regionals… Named track squad most valuuable athlete as senior… Set school long jump mark with 19[apos]2′ effort.
