Played in all 10 events and 28 rounds in 2009-10, and posted a stroke average of 73.07, the second-best average on the team…Finished in a tie for second at the Commodores[apos] own Mason Rudolph Championship with a score of 136 (67-69)…Posted one other top 10 at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate when he finished in a tie for 10th (72-69=141)…Low round of 67 came in the first round of the Mason Rudolph…Tied for 11th at the Prestige at PGA West with a total of 216 (70-74-72)…Finished in 14th out of 75 golfers at the Samford Intercollegiate.
Sophomore (2008-09)
Played in 26 rounds during nine events for the Commodores… Eagled the 54th hole to claim medalist honors and lead the Commodores to a team championship at the 2009 Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla…. Second-straight individual winner at the event from Vanderbilt (Jon Curran, 2008)… First-round 67 marked his low round as a collegian… Also finished in the Top 10 at the 2008 Hummingbird Intercollegiate… Second-lowest scoring average on the team (73.58).
Freshman (2007-08)
Played 10 tournament rounds during four appearances for the Commodores as a freshman… Finished the season with a 75.70 stroke average… Best finish came at the 2008 Kauai Collegiate Cup, where a three-over 219 propelled him to eighth in the 59-player field… Low 18-hole score of 71 came in the first and third rounds of the Kauai event… Made his collegiate debut at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, hosted by ETSU… Carded a 12-over 228 to place 76th… Played the only round of the 2007 Mason Rudolph Championship at three-over… Also competed at the Furman Intercollegiate.
Amateur
Competed in the 2009 British Amateur in June.. Qualified for the 2009 United State Amateur Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Okla., by advancing through a three-way playoff at the Pecan Valley Golf Club in San Antonion, Texas… Finished 11th at the 89th-annual Western Junior in Wheaton, Ill…. Also notched a pair of Top-10 finishes in AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) events… Placed ninth at the 2004 Texas Junior Tour stop at the Blackhorse Golf Course… Recorded a hole-in-one on the third hole at Miromar Lakes Beach & GC in Miromar Lakes, Fla., during the final round of the Nike Golf Junior at Lee County… Finished fifth at the 2005 Texas Junior Open.
High School
A three-year captain at Stratford Senior High School in Houston, Haselden ranks among the nation[apos]s Top 100 junior golfers… Placed third at the Joe Ballander Memorial Tournament… Earned individual medalist honors at the 2006 Bart Granger Memorial Golf Tournament over a field of 265 in Fort Worth, Texas… Followed that performance up by winning a second consecutive event… Also named salutatorian of his high school class.
