2006-07 Season
Competed in 10 of 12 team events, including every event in the spring and three postseason tournaments (SEC, NCAA Regional, NCAA Championship), in his first year as a Commodore… Best performance of the season came at the NCAA West Regional… Carded a three-round total of 206 (10-under) to place in a tie for 18th out of 141 golfers… Whalen[apos]s third-round 65 (seven-under) tied for the third-lowest round ever recorded by a Commodore… Also posted Vanderbilt[apos]s lowest score in the West Regional[apos]s first round (69)… Shot at-or-below par in a total of seven rounds of golf during the season.

2005-06 Season (Univ. of Arizona)
Played in 5 events… Stroke average of 74.60 was highlighted by a tie for fifth at the CSUB Fall Invitational at Bakersfield Country Club after shooting a two-under 214… Tied for 11th place at the NIT Invitational at Tucson National Golf Club, shooting three-under 213.

2004-05 Season (Univ. of Arizona)
Sat out the 2004-05 season with a redshirt.

2003-04 (Univ. Arizona)
Competed in four events, with a stroke average of 75.33… Best finish was a tie for 26th in his first college event at the Del Walker Intercollegiate.

Amateur
Third-place finisher in the 2007 Eastern Amateur (12-under 268) at the Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club in Portsmouth, Va…. Monday qualifier (three-under 68) for the 2007 Dogwood Invitational and shot two-over in the event at Druid Hills G.C…. Finished fourth in 2007 US Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Bowling Green C.C. (five-under 137) to miss the event by a shot… Advanced to match play at the 78th U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in 2003 at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club[apos]s East Course in Galloway, N.J…. Just one stroke shy of again qualifying for the event in 2006 at Harpeth Hills (three-under 141) after winning a sectional qualifier at Los Serranos (seven-under 141) in Los Angeles in 2003.
