The 2020 season marks former Vanderbilt student-athlete Bryce Lewis’ third year on the Commodore football staff. He serves as a quality control staff member focusing on the Vanderbilt defense.
In 2018, Lewis’ first year on the Vanderbilt staff, he assisted Commodore secondary coaches as a graduate assistant.
Lewis earned three varsity letters as a defensive back for the Commodores from 2015-17. Playing through injuries, Lewis appeared in 32 career games, earning two starting assignments. He registered 16 solo tackles, 21 total tackles and one interception during his career.
A product of Parkview (Ga.) High School, Lewis completed a bachelor’s degree in special education in May 2018. He earned a master’s in learning, diversify and urban studies from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College in Mays 2019.
Lewis and the former Kryslynn Davidson were married in 2018.
