Head coach Tim Corbin on Murphy: “Murph has come back from arm surgery very well. He threw the ball well during the fall and has made the jump you would hope that a pitcher in his position would make. He is a good athlete who can field his position and also has a good acumen for the game. Total team guy – he will do whatever you need him to do. We like what he is capable of doing. His arm strength has a chance to be different.”
