ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — The Commodore women’s soccer team will open the 2010 Southeastern Conference Tournament against Florida on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 5 p.m. CT, at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.
Play begins at Orange Beach at Noon Wednesday as No. 2 seed South Carolina takes on No. 7 seed Kentucky. At 2:30 p.m., No. 3 Tennessee faces No. 6 LSU.
Following Vanderbilt’s game with No. 1 seed Florida, No. 4 seed Georgia and No. 5 seed Auburn play at 7:30 p.m. The Georgia-Auburn winner will face the Vanderbilt-Florida victor on Friday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
The tournament championship is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. CT, and will be televised live by ESPNU. The Commodores have claimed two SEC Tournament championships in the event’s 17-year history.
Games on Wednesday and Friday will not be shown web cast this year, though highlights of games will be available online each evening.
