NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Track and field season is just around the corner and Vanderbilt officially announced its 2021-22 schedule Monday.
The Commodores will kick off the indoor season at home as hosts of the Commodore Challenge (Jan. 14-15) followed by the Vanderbilt Invitational (Jan. 21-22). This will be followed by road meets at the Louisville Invitational (Jan. 28-29) and Charlie Thomas Invitational (Feb. 4-5).
The team will end the indoor regular season at home hosting the Indoor Music City Challenge on Feb. 11-12.
The Indoor SEC Championships will take place in College Station, Texas, on Feb. 25-26 and the NCAA Championships will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 11-12.
To open their outdoor season, the Commodores will head to Orlando for the UCF Invitational on March 18-19. The team will then hit the road to the Raleigh Relays (March 25-26), the Ole Miss Invitational (April 8-9), the Georgia Tech Invitational (April 22-23) and the Indiana Invitational (April 22-23) before they close out the regular season at home with the Outdoor Music City Challenge on April 29-30.
The outdoor postseason begins at the SEC Championships in Oxford, Mississippi, on May 12-14 followed by the NCAA East Regionals in Bloomington, Indiana, on May 26-28 and the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on June 8-11.
