2006: Threw hammer and discus outdoors… Career-best hammer throw, 150[apos]1′ at Indiana[apos]s Hayes Invitational, ranks fourth all-time on team… Competed in hammer throw at SEC Championships… Top discus throw of 128[apos]10′ came at Alabama Relays… Focused on weight throw indoors, setting a personal best of 49[apos]5′ at Middle Tennessee State Invitational… The effort moved Foster to third all-time among Commodores indoor weight throwers.

2005: Illness impacted latter part of outdoor season… In limited outdoor duties, set PR in hammer (136[apos]3′) in Indianapolis… Also threw hammer at Vanderbilt Invitational… Posted the third best 20-pound weight throw (49[apos]4′) ever by Commodore and fourth best shot put (41[apos]7′) at MTSU indoor meets.

2004: Concentrated on hammer and discus throws during outdoor season… Posted discus PR of 137[apos]2′ at Sea Ray Relays while hammer PR (129[apos]8′) came at Vanderbilt Invitational… Best indoor shot effort (40[apos]11.5′) came at Ohio State Invitational… Also tossed weight 44[apos]6′ at Ohio State.

In High School: Two-year captain of team that won three conference titles in four-year varsity career… All-State as junior, finishing third in state in shot and fifth in discus… Four-time field MVP winner… Captured three discus and shot titles in district… National Honor Society member.

Academics: Foster is expected to complete a degree this May in human and organizational development.

Personal: Kasi Marie Foster… Daughter of Michael and Cathy Foster… Born Jan. 15, 1985… Parents have relocated to Albuquerque, N.M., where dad became plant manager for Ethicon Endo-Surgery… One of three siblings… Dad is a former collegiate thrower/football player… A musician and lyricist, plays piano and guitar… Won national singing competitions… Enjoys performing gospel songs.
