Anissa Moore prepped at Hempstead High School. Her prep bests include 24.48 in the 200 meters and 54.03 in the 400 meters. As a senior in high school, she was the 400-meter champion at the ShopRite Nutmeg State Games and Nike Indoor Nationals and was New York State champion in the 400 and 600 meters. Moore also won the 400-meter title at the 2022 New York State Championships. In 2022, she was the USATF National Youth Outdoor champion in the 200 and 400 meters.
