Relay action capped the weekend for the Vanderbilt track and field team, which competed at the Colonial Relays and Florida Relays this weekend.
Colonial Relays – RESULTS
The Commodores placed fifth in the 4×800 meter relay, clocking a time of 9:03.36. Lily Williams led things off, followed by Hannah Jumper, Jordan White and Sara Barron.
Vanderbilt placed fourth in the distane medley relay, posting a time of 11:59.12. Kristen Smith led off that relay, followed by Baron, Jumper and Rebecca Chandler.
As a team, the Commodores finished seventh in the meet, having just distance runners at the Colonial Relays. The distance crew scored 55 points on the weekend.
Florida Relays – RESULTS
The Commodore relay crew finished the 4×400 meter relay 3:56.52. Jennifer Cannon led the 4×400, followed by Brionne Williams, Skyler Carpenter and Faith Washington.
Next up, Vanderbilt is scheduled to go to the Tennessee Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn., April 11-13.
