General Comments:
“The composure we displayed in the last 30 seconds of the game is proof that we are maturing as a team. The combination of Amy Wilcox being comfortable, and crafty with the ball in the USC final third with Hannah Gonzales’s activity with the run in the box was impressive–earning us a corner kick. And then, the grit of Amy Baumann to keep the ball alive, Amy Wilcox’s precise service and the technical finish of Molly Kinsella was text book. I am so incredibly proud of not only the effort, but the sense of mind to score a big goal with less than 10 seconds on the clock.”
“Now our goal is to continue to build on this excitement that the last minute goal provided for our team. And, we will need to take care of that is a very speedy manner because we welcome two more top 20 teams to our stadium this weekend.”
