Take a stroll through Vanderbilt’s athletic facilities this summer and it is nearly a foregone conclusion that you will hear the many sounds of construction that rattle back and forth each day between Memorial Gymnasium, McGugin Center and Vanderbilt Stadium.

Just a last week a new video board was lifted to the rafters inside Memorial Gym. Since January, construction crews have been hard at work renovating Vanderbilt’s McGugin Center with space for new meeting rooms and locker rooms for many teams. After the Black and Gold Spring Game in April, work began inside Vanderbilt Stadium where a new video board is being installed, hillside seating is being created and a new playing surface will be laid.

Last weekend the old video board on the north side of Vanderbilt Stadium was removed to make room for a new board. Check back for updates throughout the summer.
