Outdoor Action Continues in Florida

Events begin Friday at 1:30 p.m. CT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Commodores will head to the Sunshine State to continue their outdoor track and field season at Florida Relays Friday and Saturday.

Vanderbilt most recently competed at Raleigh Relays, where men’s and women’s distance student-athletes broke three school records.

The rest of the Dores opened their outdoor season at the Hampton Inn River City Relays earlier in March. After helping Vanderbilt set the third-best time in school history in the 4×400-meter relay and clocking the third-ranked mark in the 400 meters, Faith Franklin was named SEC Freshman of the Week. Elizabeth Bailey reset her own program standard in the javelin, while six more Commodore performances ranked inside the school’s all-time top 10.

Action in Gainesville kicks off Friday at 1:30 p.m. CT. Live results are available at pttiming.com.
