  • Vanderbilt continues NIT action with a home game versus No. 1 seeded Dayton at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Gymnasium.
  • The Commodores earned a spot in the NIT second round after taking down Belmont, 82-71, in the opening round on Tuesday night.
  • The Dores have secured their first winning season since the 2016-17 campaign.
  • Vandy is 4-2 in the all-time series versus Dayton.
  • Vanderbilt point guard Rodney Chatman, now in his first season in Nashville, played two seasons for Dayton. He started 42 of his 43 games for the Flyers.
  • A win over Dayton would move the Dores into the NIT quarterfinals to face Florida or Xavier. Quarterfinal games are scheduled for March 22-23.
