NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s basketball head coach Shea Ralph announced Friday the addition of graduate student Saniyah Glenn-Bello to the 2026-27 Vanderbilt women’s basketball roster.

Glenn-Bello, a 2026 graduate of Harvard University, comes to the Music City with one year of eligibility. She joins the Commodores after a stellar four-year career with the Crimson, as the 6-1 guard guided Harvard to a 2025 Ivy League Tournament Championship and the program’s first NCAA Tournament bid in 19 seasons. Glenn-Bello appeared in 112 games and made 94 starts for the Crimson, where she was a part of three 20-win campaigns over four seasons.

“We are excited to introduce Saniyah Glenn-Bello to our Commodore family,” said Ralph. Saniyah is a versatile, athletic guard who comes to us as a graduate student after four seasons at Harvard. She is a great athlete with great energy, both on and off the court. Saniyah brings valuable experience and a bubbly personality, and she makes our team instantly better.

“As a Harvard graduate, she is well-rounded; outstanding in the classroom and a competitor on the court. She makes us better just by being here. Saniyah embodies all the things required to be successful at Vanderbilt. We know Commodore Nation is going to love her. We are so glad she is with us.”

The newest Dore is coming off her best collegiate season in 2025-26. Glenn-Bello averaged a career-best 11.1 points, 2.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game, while pulling down 4.0 rebounds per contest. She also led Harvard with 37 blocks. The guard shot 36.4 percent from the floor and 31.7 percent on 3-point field goals.

The Staten Island, New York, native registered double-digit points in 18 games last season and scored a career-high 20 points vs. Delaware on Dec. 29. Glenn-Bello was named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week on Feb. 2 after she made a personal-best five 3-point field goals, capping off her night by hitting both the game-tying and game-winning 3-pointers over the final 15 seconds of play, vs. Brown on Jan. 31.

Glenn-Bello attended Christ the King High School in Queens, New York, where she was team captain and team MVP as a senior, while also earning all-league and all-city honors. She helped her high school win a state championship, going a perfect 24-0. Glenn-Bello scored over 1,000 points at the prep level and served as class vice president. She played AAU basketball for Philly Rise, the same program that produced Vanderbilt All-American Mikayla Blakes.

The 2026-27 season begins for Vanderbilt Monday at Memorial Gymnasium, as the Commodores host Lipscomb for Education Day. Tipoff against the Bisons is set for 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network+. Fans can also listen to the game locally on 94.9 The Fan and digitally on the Vanderbilt Athletics app.
