NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men's tennis remained perfect in doubles play while sophomore Donghyun Hwang extended his singles streak to five on Saturday at the Black and Gold Invitational from the Lummis Family Tennis Center.

The Dores opened doubles with Hwang and freshman Leonardo Ljubicic facing Ole Miss' Mason Landreth and Kai Milburn. The duo rolled to a 6-3 win, marking their second of the weekend. On Court 2, freshman Roshan Santhosh teamed with Samuel Balfour Dominguez of North Alabama in a matchup against Belmont's Esteban Ortiz and Morgan Woodson. Santhosh and Balfour Dominguez held on in the tiebreaker to secure the doubles sweep for the Commodores.

Singles play followed, and Vanderbilt suffered defeats in its first two matches. Hwang, who entered the day 4-0 in fall singles contests so far, had to survive a three-set battle on Court 8 against Milburn but continued his unbeaten run with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 victory over his Rebel counterpart.

Vanderbilt rounds out the final day of the Black and Gold Invitational against Middle Tennessee opponents. First serve on Sunday is expected to be at 9 a.m. but is subject to change. Streaming will be available online with live stats and results accessible here.
