MASON, Ohio — For a second straight season, the Vanderbilt women's tennis team will be competing for a regional doubles title after senior Valeria Ray and junior Sophia Webster advanced to the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships doubles final on Monday from the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.

Monday's matchup was the first to go three sets for the No. 29 ranked Commodore duo, facing Indiana's Elisabeth Dunac and Hi'ilani Williams. Ray and Webster cruised to a 6-3 advantage after the opening frame, but the Hoosiers responded in the second set 7-5 to force a tiebreaker. With a spot in the final on the line, Ray and Webster pulled away, sinking the Hoosiers 10-2 to claim the match and advance into the championship contest.

It will be a rivalry matchup on Tuesday, as Vanderbilt faces Sarah Mildren and Alyson Shannon of Tennessee. First serve is expected at 10:30 a.m. CT (11:30 a.m. ET).
