TULSA, Okla. — The No. 30 ranked doubles pair of junior Pablo Martinez Gomez and sophomore Hoyoung Roh advanced by walkover on Wednesday at the ITA All-American Championships hosted by Tulsa.
The duo looked to rebound after a tiebreaker loss to Baylor opponents in the opening round of main draw play on Wednesday. Martinez Gomez and Hoyoung were set to face Tulsa's Calum Jestin and Nikita Volonski, but the Golden Hurricane withdrew due to injury. Vanderbilt now prepares for a matchup with Matisse Farzam and Tiago Pires of Clemson in the doubles consolation quarterfinals tomorrow at a time to be determined.
