NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s golf team announced its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The Commodores are slated to play in nine regular-season tournaments, as Vandy is searching for a 13th-straight NCAA Championship appearance.
Vanderbilt participates in four events during the fall and will compete in five spring tournaments before beginning postseason play on April 21-25 at the SEC Championship, which will once again be held at St. Simons Island, Georgia. The 2027 NCAA Regionals are set for May 17-19, while the 2027 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships take place May 28-June 2 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.
The Commodores once again host the Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee, on April 2-4.
Vandy, who enters Year 15 under the guidance of Scott Limbaugh, the Thomas F. Roush, M.D. and Family Vanderbilt Men’s Golf, opens the 2026-27 campaign at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
“Once again, we have a schedule that gives our student-athletes the opportunity to compete on some of the best courses in the world and against outstanding competition,” said Limbaugh about the 2026-27 schedule. “We have several new tournaments this year that we are excited about, while also keeping some of our favorite trips and best events. We are super excited about seeing what this year’s team can become, and we look forward to seeing our Vandy Golf Family out there watching us compete throughout the season."
The Dores continue the month of September with the Inverness Collegiate in Toledo, Ohio (Sept. 13-15) and the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational (Sept. 28-29) in Fort Worth, Texas. It will be the third time that Vanderbilt has played in the Inverness Collegiate, while the Dores will be playing in the Ben Hogan Collegiate for the fifth-straight season.
Vanderbilt closes the fall portion of its 2026-27 schedule on Oct. 18-20 in Wilmington, North Carolina, for The Williams Cup. It is the second time the Dores will play in the tournament held at Eagle Point Golf Club, as it is the program’s first trip to The Williams Cup since the 2021-22 campaign.
After the winter break, the Commodores return to action in a pair of familiar tournaments to open the spring slate. Vanderbilt begins the spring on Feb. 14-16, as the Dores will play in their fifth-straight Watersound Invitational in Panama City, Florida. Vandy then makes its annual excursion to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for the Cabo Collegiate on Feb. 28-March 2. It will be the 13th time that the Dores travel to Twin Dolphin Golf Club for the event.
Vanderbilt closes March with a visit to the Black Desert Collegiate on March 15-17. It is the first time that the Dores will play in the tournament held at Black Desert Resort Golf Club in St. George, Utah.
The Dores return home to host the Mason Rudolph Championship on April 2-4 at Vanderbilt Legends Club. Vandy will be seeking its 12th Mason Rudolph team title overall this season, while the Commodores have won seven of their last nine home tournaments.
The regular season ends at The Ford Collegiate in Richmond Hill, Georgia, on April 12-13. It will be the first time that Vanderbilt has made the journey to the Ford Field and River Club.
The 2027 SEC Men’s Golf Championship will be held in its traditional location at the Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia, on April 21-25. The Commodores are looking to advance to the title match at the SEC Championship for the fifth time in the last seven seasons. Vanderbilt has won the SEC Championship three times, which came in 2017, 2021, and 2022.
NCAA postseason play begins May 17-19 at the NCAA Men’s Golf Regionals. The six locations for the 2027 NCAA Regional events are as follows, with the host school in parentheses. Bloomington, Indiana (Indiana), Loudon, Tennessee (Tennessee), Lubbock, Texas (Texas Tech), Marana, Arizona (Arizona), Murrells Inlet, South Carolina (Coastal Carolina) and Stillwater, Oklahoma (Oklahoma State).
The 2027 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships will be held for the fourth-straight year at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 28-June 2.
