NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Building on a relationship developed over the last six seasons, Vanderbilt Athletics and Cromwell Media announced Friday a multiyear extension of a partnership to broadcast not only games of multiple Commodore teams but weekly programming as well.
As part of the agreement, 102.5 The Game will continue to serve as the primary flagship station for all Vandy football, men’s basketball and baseball games along with Vanderbilt’s weekly radio show the Commodore Hour. 94.9 The Fan is scheduled to air broadcasts when conflicts arise due to the Nashville Predators’ schedule as well as all Vanderbilt women’s basketball games.

With 102.5 The Game and 94.9 The Fan, Commodore fans will continue to have outstanding access to the teams they love throughout the region.”

Not only will Vanderbilt Sports Network from Learfield continue to include stations in Memphis (WMPS 103.1 FM, 1210 AM) and Lewisburg (WJJM 94.3 FM, 1490 AM), new affiliates have been added for the fall in Cowan (WZYX 94.5 FM, 95.3 FM, 1440 AM) and Johnson City/Tri-Cities (WETB 93.7 FM, 790 AM) in the state.
Cromwell Media has been airing Vanderbilt Athletic events since 2020. This season’s slate is scheduled to get underway with the Commodore Hour on Monday night, with the opening live event broadcast scheduled for Sept. 5 when Commodore football plays host to Austin Peay at 6 p.m. at FirstBank Stadium.
Vanderbilt Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield—the media and technology company powering college athletics—is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Vanderbilt Athletics and oversees the radio broadcast relationship with Cromwell Media on behalf of the Commodores.
