NASHVILLE, Tenn. — SRM Concrete will become the first all-sports jersey patch partner in Vanderbilt Athletics history beginning with the 2026–27 athletic year, building on the bold partnership between cornerstones of the Nashville community. Expanding the partnership creates new opportunities for SRM Concrete, the nation’s No. 1 ready-mix concrete producer, to engage directly with Commodore student-athletes through name, image and likeness initiatives and support excellence across the university’s 17 varsity teams.
“As we prepare for a new year of unforgettable moments and inspiring performances, I’m gratified that SRM Concrete will be with us everywhere Commodores compete through these jersey patches,” Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor for Athletics and University Affairs and Athletic Director Candice Storey Lee said. “Our student-athletes embody a university committed to setting a new standard for national excellence without sacrificing values forged in the Nashville community we call home. As a company with similar roots and ambitions, SRM Concrete shares our vision for what is possible for Vanderbilt Athletics.”
SRM Concrete has been an official partner of Vanderbilt Athletics since 2025, when the family-owned-and-operated company secured naming rights to the SRM South End Zone Suites at FirstBank Stadium.
The jersey patch opportunity has emerged as one of the most visible new sponsorship platforms in college athletics, arriving as Vanderbilt continues to earn the national spotlight on the field and broaden its national footprint off the field, including its recently announced plans to establish full-time academic campuses in San Francisco, New York City and West Palm Beach.
“Nashville is where SRM Concrete's story began, and it's still the community we're proud to call home,” said Jeff Hollingshead, CEO SRM Concrete. “Vanderbilt represents the very best of this city—world-class in academics, nationally recognized in athletics, and committed to developing leaders who make a lasting impact. We're honored to expand our partnership and support the student-athletes who represent this incredible university. As Vanderbilt continues to build something special, we're proud to help lay the foundation for its future success and invest in a program that reflects the excellence, integrity, and vision we strive for every day at SRM Concrete.”
Founded by Mike and Melissa Hollingshead in 1999, SRM is a family-owned and operated ready-mix, aggregates, and cement company. Under the direction of CEO and Vanderbilt alumnus Jeff Hollingshead, working alongside his father, Chairman and Founder Mike, and brother, SRM Materials President Ryan Hollinghead, SRM now operates in 24 states with more than 550 concrete plants and 8,500 team members.
“Candice has done an incredible job leading Vanderbilt Athletics, achieving success at the highest levels, and building something special in Nashville. Vanderbilt's deep relationship with SRM Concrete shows how the right partnership can provide a strong foundation for continued growth,” said Kim Damron, President of Sports Properties at Learfield. “What makes this relationship especially impactful is the way it connects one of the most visible platforms in college athletics with the opportunity to deepen brand affinity, strengthen ties with the global Commodore community, and create value that extends well beyond the uniforms.”
Vanderbilt Sports Properties, Learfield’s local team, is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Vanderbilt Athletics which oversees all sponsorship agreements on behalf of the Commodores. The agreement was facilitated with support from Learfield’s Commercial Partnerships team, the college sports industry’s first team dedicated to generating impactful partnerships built around high-visibility assets such as jersey patches, naming rights and field/court logos.
