NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt lacrosse returns to Music City for a matchup against Arizona State at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex on Sunday at noon. The matchup between the Commodores and Sun Devils will be shown on ESPN+.

Vandy is coming off a 21-3 loss at No. 15 Johns Hopkins on Wednesday with goals coming from Megan Graziano, Logan Risenhoover and Morgan White. Graziano tallied her first goal of the season while White found the back of the cage for the first time in her career.

The Dores have won two-straight games on their home field this season and will look to extend that streak to three in just the second matchup ever against Arizona State. The two teams met for the first time in Tempe, Arizona in 2019 when Vanderbilt claimed a 15-14 victory to start 5-0 on the year, its best start since 2008.

Arizona State is coming off two home losses to ranked opponents, No. 6 Michigan and No. 11 Florida. The Sun Devils have the third-best clearing percentage in the country (.963), behind Florida (.990) and Ohio State (.963).

Sunday’s game will be the annual Morgan’s Message dedication game. Morgan’s Message is a foundation, in honor of the late Morgan Rodgers, that strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics.
