NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Three Vanderbilt football fields remain in the hunt for the Super Bowl entering the NFL’s Divisional Round Jan. 20-21.

Oren Burks and the 49ers host Green Bay, Trent Sherfield and the Bills host Kansas City and Justin Skule and Tampa Bay travel to Detroit. Zach Cunningham’s Eagles were eliminated by the Buccaneers last weekend.

Oren Burks – 49ers
The 49ers host the Packers following last week’s bye. Burks has made 46 total tackles in 15 games this season while helping the 49ers to the best record in the NFC at 12-5. He capped the regular season with a season-best seven tackles and a sack as San Francisco dropped a 21-20 decision to the Rams. The Niners host the NFC Championship game next weekend if they win against Green Bay Saturday night.

Justin Skule – Buccaneers
Skule saw action on 16 plays in Tampa Bay’s 32-9 opening-round win over Philadelphia. He played 10 snaps at left tackle and was on the field for six special teams plays. The Buccaneers travel to Detroit on Saturday night looking to advance to the NFC Championship.

Trent Sherfield – Bills
Sherfield played 19 snaps at receiver but wasn’t targeted in the Bills’ 31-17 victory over the Steelers a week ago. He also played on nine special teams plays in the snowy victory. The Bills host the Chiefs Sunday evening for the right to play in the AFC Championship game.
