Dansby Swanson and the Cubs competed against Drew VerHagen and the Cardinals in the London Series this past weekend. Swanson got the best of the matchup in Saturday’s contest.

In the minors, Spencer Jones was named to the 2023 Futures Game in Seattle, representing the American League. Jones continues to shine for the Yankees’ High-A squad, the Hudson Valley Renegades. Jones has 10 homers and 36 RBIs.
Chris McElvain earned a promotion to High-A. He boasts a 2.98 ERA over 54.1 innings this season In the Reds’ organization.
