GREENVILLE, N.C. — Vanderbilt takes on Florida for the 2022 American Athletic Conference Championship at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday in Greenville, North Carolina with action airing on ESPN+.

• The Commodores are looking for their first conference tournament championship. Vanderbilt won the ALC regular season title in 2010.
Melissa Hawkins needs four caused turnovers to match the Vanderbilt record for career CTs at 133.
• Bri Gross is two goals away from the 100 for her career and is looking to become the 16th Commodore to reach the century mark.
• Vanderbilt beat Temple 11-10 in an overtime thriller on Thursday evening to earn its first AAC Tournament win in three tries.
• The Dores trailed by as many as three goals to the Owls before fifth-year senior Gabby Fornia took over, scoring four goals and an assist in the fourth quarter and overtime.
• Fornia scored the game-tying goal with 11 seconds left in regulation and then won it for Vandy in OT.
Paige Gunning put on a gutsy performance in goal. She finished with 11 saves and set up Fornia’s game-tying goal with an impressive interception near midfield to give Vandy one final chance to keep the season alive.
• Vanderbilt placed three Dores on the All-AAC first team, tied with Temple for second most in the league.
Gabby Fornia, Bri Gross and Melissa Hawkins were all unanimous selections to the first team. Maddie Souza, Karlie Bucci and Kayla Rieu were named second-team All-AAC.
• Fifth-year senior Gabby Fornia became the first AAC women’s lacrosse player to earn three first-team All-AAC honors.
