NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Making a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands during the upcoming 2021-22 women’s basketball season, Vanderbilt is one of eight teams scheduled to take part in the 2021 Paradise Jam on St. Thomas from November 25-27.
While matchups and game times will be announced at a later date, Vanderbilt will be joined in the tournament by Arizona, DePaul, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Texas A&M and South Dakota. Each game will take place at the Sports and Fitness Center on the campus of the University of the Virgin Islands.

In the event, Vanderbilt will play three games with the field split into two, four-team tournaments. The champion of each division will be determined by best record. Each game will air live on ESPN3 or ESPN+.
For fans looking to attend the event, packages will be sold at a later date with more information to come later this year.
This season marks the second visit to the Paradise Jam for the Commodores. In its first trip, Vandy finished second in the Reef Division when the tournament was hosted in Washington, D.C. because of damage caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
