NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt baseball student-athlete Jack Leiter was named SEC Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Leiter continued his impressive stretch of pitching, coming off a no-hit performance last week. He worked 7.0 hitless at Missouri, allowing just two of the 23 batters he faced to reach base, both via walk.

The sophomore right-hander registered double-digit strikeouts for the third time this season, punching out 10 Mizzou batters on the night. He recorded at least one strikeout in six of his seven innings pitched, including multiple strikeouts in three frames.

Leiter picked up his sixth win of the season to move to 6-0 on the campaign, and help the Commodores claim the series victory over the Tigers.
