NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt sophomore William Moll has been named to the latest Haskins Award Watch List, the organization announced Friday.

Moll, named to 2020 Fred Haskins Award end of fall season watch list, finished tied for 11th at the Gators Invitational (Feb. 12-14) with a three-day total of 204 (-6). He came in a tie for 21st at the LSU Invitational (Feb. 26-28) with a 6-over-par 222.

The Houston, Texas, native ranks 17th nationally with a 73.35 rating and 70.73 adjusted scoring average.

Moll joins Ludvig Aberg of Texas Tech, Jacob Bridgeman of Clemson, Michael Brennan of Wake Forest, Michael Feagles of Illinois, Nick Gabrelcik of North Florida, Ryan Hall of South Carolina, Dylan Menante of Pepperdine, Vincent Norrman of Florida State, John Pak of Florida State, Trent Phillips of Georgia, David Puig of Arizona State, Davis Thompson of Georgia, Patrick Welch of Oklahoma and Kieran Vincent of Liberty.

Celebrating its 50th year, the Fred Haskins Award has been given to players who have captured 31 major championships and more than 400 professional tournaments around the world. Past recipients include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ben Crenshaw,and Justin Thomas.

Sahith Theegala (Pepperdine) won the 50th Haskins Award in 2020.

The Fred Haskins Award is the oldest individual college golf award and the only award to be voted on by players, coaches, golf SID’s and select golf media. Golf Channel and Golfweek are media partners for the Fred Haskins Award.
