- The Commodores had a tough road weekend last week, falling at 17th-ranked NC State and against 2nd-ranked UConn.
- Chelsie Hall put up double-digit points in both games with 14 against NC State and 12 against UConn. She now has 24 double-digit games.
- Cierra Walker was hot from three against NC State and racked up a team-best 17 points.
- The Commodores forced UConn into 15 turnovers.
- Vanderbilt edged the Huskies in steals 9-to-7.
SCOUTING REPORT
- Tennessee State dropped its third consecutive game to open the season after falling to Troy, 92-67, on Friday.
- TSU is averaging 62.0 points per game while shooting 34.8 percent from the field and 75.4 percent from the charity stripe.
- Taylor Roberts is leading the team in scoring with 16.3 points per game while sophomore Jaden Wrightsell is leading the squad on the glass with 7.3 rebounds per game.
