RENO, NV—Amanda Fry dropped a 200-172 game to tour veteran Stephanie Johnson and in the process, finished fifth in a nationally televised final at The Queens Tuesday night.
The 2016 Vanderbilt graduate was hindered by two early 7-10 splits and later suffered another open frame but otherwise bowled composed and well in her television debut. Her strong performance adds her name to a growing list of Commodore alumni who have shined in major professional events. The Queens is regarded as one of the sport’s major tournaments, attracting all the nation’s leading professinals and elite amateurs.
