The 22nd-ranked Vanderbilt men’s tennis team hits the road for one last weekend in the regular season, facing No. 25 Georgia on Friday at 4 p.m. CT and No. 21 Tennessee Sunday at noon.
Vanderbilt enters the weekend with a 16-6 overall record and 6-4 mark in Southeastern Conference play. The Commodores suffered a 4-1 loss last weekend, falling in Lexington, Ky. to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Commodore Notables:
- The Commodores enter the weekend ranked No. 22 in the nation
- Vanderbilt has been ranked in the ITA top 25 for a month straight
- The Dores have two ranked singles players; No. 21 Cameron Klinger and No. 39 Daniel Valent
- Klinger and Billy Rowe rank 28th in the ITA’s latest doubles poll, while Lachlan McPhee and Panu Virtanen come in at 80th
- Valent is nearing VU’s all-time singles victories record (107), sitting at 105 entering the weekend
- Previously this season, VU capped a 10-match win streak with a win over South Carolina
- The 10-match win streak was the longest since the 2002-03 season when the team went 27-4, won the SEC tournament and reached an NCAA championship final
Gauging UGA:
- Georgia enters the weekend with a 10-9 overall record and 3-7 SEC tab
- The Bulldogs fell to Alabama in their last contest, 4-2

- Georgia picked up a 6-1 victory in last season’s match against the Dores
Testing Tennessee:
- The Volunteers own an 18-6 (7-3) record and 13-3 at home
- The squad’s three losses came against Florida, Texas A&M and Mississippi State
- Tennessee hosts Kentucky on Friday prior to Sunday’s regular season finale
- The Vols field a top-25 doubles team, No. 24 Luis Valero and Preston Touliatos
- Tennessee has a pair of ranked singles student-athletes; Timo Stodder (22) and Adam Walton (112)
