Longtime Voice of the Commodores Joe Fisher has been inducted into the Metro Nashville Schools Sports Hall of Fame.

Fisher is in his 20th season calling the action for the Commodores, having called numerous NCAA Tournament games for the Dores on the hardwood, three trips to the College World Series including the 2014 national championship and five of the eight bowl games in school history.

Fisher was one of eight to be enshrined earlier in the week joining NCAA official Felicia Grinter, Donelson HS linebacker Jim Bevans, Donelson quarterback Steve Burger, who played at Vanderbilt, Overton running back Keith Davis, Litton basketball standout Carol Galloway; East golf great Danny Gibson and Pearl coach James Armstrong.
