VUCommodores.com: Adam Butler went from an undrafted free agent to a key piece of the New England Patriots’ defense in the NFL this season. On Sunday, Butler will also represent Vanderbilt in the Super Bowl, an opportunity cherished by the former Commodore. “It means everything,” Butler said. “I love Vanderbilt.”

TitansOnline.com: Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com also chronicles Butler’s path to the Super Bowl from Minneapolis, where Patriots coach Bill Belichick praised Butler’s work ethic. “I talked to the coaches down there (at Vanderbilt) and they had a lot of good things to say about him, how he worked and how he prepared,” Belichick told Wyatt. “He has done a good job for us.”
