NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team will face its second ranked opponent in a row, as the squad travels north to take on No. 17 Columbia Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. CT.

Owning a 4-1 record, the Commodores most recently faced top-ranked Wake Forest last weekend, and nearly pulled off the upset. The Demon Deacons rallied to overcome a 3-1 deficit to earn a close 4-3 victory. The Dores nabbed the doubles point, then secured singles victories on courts two and six.

Commodore notables:

  • Two Commodores remind undefeated in the singles lineup; Cameron Klinger and George Harwell
  • Daniel Valent is the Commodores lone ranked singles player, coming in at No. 50
  • Lachlan McPhee and Billy Rowe rank 36th in the latest doubles poll
