NASHVILLE, Tenn.
The Vanderbilt Swim team took to the road one last time in the regular season today for their final dual meet and event before SECs. The Dores will compete in Little Rock, Ark. for a dual with Arkansas Little Rock Saturday morning at the Donaghey Student Center.
Vandy heads into the dual one week removed from a two-day meet against Houston and Arkansas in Houston last weekend. Vandy saw great swims during the Saturday events, led by senior Breanna Sapienza‘s win in the 200-butterfly. Sapienza also helped the Dores race well in the 200-yard medley relay, which finished in third place.
After the dual meet with the Trojans, Vanderbilt will set their sights toward the SEC championships. The Conference championships will be held from February 14-18 in College Station, Texas.
THE TROJANS
Arkansas Little Rock Welcomes Vanderbilt after a home victory against Ouachita Baptist University 245-38 on January 13. The dual against the Dores is senior day for the Trojans, and their last competition before the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in Iowa City, Iowa in February.
