A note from our concessionaire

Sept. 22, 2017

Dear Commodore Nation,

Last Saturday night was a great night inside Vanderbilt Stadium watching head coach Derek Mason lead the Commodores to their first win at home over a ranked non-conference team since 1946 and we appreciate your attendance and enthusiasm throughout the game.

Unfortunately, the fan experience as it relates to concessions did not match the level of play on the field or meet expectations.

We, at Spectra, sincerely apologize for the issues related to concessions service at last week’s game. As your concessionaire, our emphasis is on creating a first class game day experience for the fans. We want to ensure Commodore fans that we are ready for tomorrow and look forward to providing great service for the rest of the season.

“As Athletics Director at Vanderbilt University, I hold myself ultimately responsible for the experience our fans have inside our venues,” said David Williams. “I join Commodore Nation in the excitement surrounding our football program and we regret any inconveniences experienced last Saturday night.”
