Vanderbilt earned its first statement win of 2017 with a 14-7 victory over No. 18 Kansas State on Saturday night at Vanderbilt Stadium. Commodores’ quarterback Kyle Shurmur ran in a two-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to give his team one final lead. Meanwhile, the Dores’ defense stifled the Wildcats on a late fourth-down conversion attempt to seal the game.
Vanderbilt is now 3-0 for the first time since 2011, and the college football world has taken notice. Here’s a roundup of reaction from social media following the Dores’ big win:
