Nashville, Tenn. — Vanderbilt Athletics will be holding a flood relief drive on Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at McGugin Center (2601 Jess Neely Dr.) for those affected by the flooding in the Houston-area due to Hurricane Harvey.
Vanderbilt is working in conjunction with Houston-area universities to collect bottled water, non-perishable food items and new or gently worn clothes.
Vanderbilt athletics would like to thank Fox Moving and Storage for providing the trailer and delivery of the donations to Houston. The Houston-area is home to nearly 3,000 Vanderbilt alumni and approximately 200 current VU students, including six student-athletes.
