The Tennessean: The career of former Vanderbilt football player Jonathan Shaub has taken many turns, including its latest chapter last week when he was hired by the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office as an assistant solicitor general. Shaub credits his tenure at Vanderbilt for jump-starting his career. “It’s given me a lot of opportunities when people looked at my résumé and said, ‘Whoa, you played football in the SEC and went to this great undergraduate institution,”‘ Shaub said.
