Former Commodores Jon Curran and Hunter Stewart will tee it up this weekend in the Nashville Open Benefitting the Snedeker Foundation this weekend in the Web.com Tour’s upcoming event at the Nashville Golf & Athletic Club.
The event, which will benefit the Snedeker Foundation which raises in excess of $1 million for several different charities across Middle Tennessee, will take place this Thursday through Sunday.
Curran, who has been out of PGA Tour tournament action since February due to injury, returns to the Web.com Tour for the Nashville event while Stewart, who is currently ranked sixth on the MacKenzie Tour (PGA Canadian Tour), received a sponsor exemption into the tournament this weekend.

Curran is set to tee off at 8:15 a.m. CT on Thursday and 1:25 p.m. on Friday, while Stewart is set to begin his round at 1:55 p.m. CT Thursday and 8:45 a.m. CT on Friday.
Humphrey finishes T-2nd at Northeast Amateur
Rising Commodore senior Theo Humphrey finished in a tie for second at the 56th Annual Northeast Amateur after finishing the four-day tournament with a nine-under par, 267 (65-63-71-68). Humphrey tied UNLV’s Shintaro Ban for second and finished two shots back of California’s Colin Morikawa for the individual title.
Other finishers for the Commodores at the prestigious amateur event were John Augenstein (T-21), Patrick Martin (T-52), and Will Gordon, who missed the cut after three rounds.
Schwab to play in next three Challenge events
Recent graduate Matthias Schwab continues his play in Europe and will begin a run of three consecutive appearances in the European Tour’s Challenge Tour this weekend at the SSE Scottish Hydro Challenge hosted by MacDonald Hotels and Resorts in Aviemore, Scotland. Schwab will also play in the Prague Golf Challenge July 6-9 and the Italian Challenge Open by Lyoness July 13-16.
In his last Challenge Tour event at the Hauts de France Golf Open, the three-time Commodore All-American finished in a tie for 14th.
