Junior Alexandra Farnsworth carded a four-over par, 76, on Tuesday in the second round of the NCAA Regional in Athens, Ga., at the University of Georgia Golf Course and has a two-day total of 153 (77-76), which is good for a tie for 56th on the individual leader board. The top three individuals not associated with the top six teams will advance to the NCAA Championship in Sugar Grove, Ill.
“I thought Farney looked so much more in control of her game the first nine holes,” said Vanderbilt head coach Greg Allen. “A couple of poor swings and some three putts slowed her down on the back but it was nice to see her birdie her last.”
The third round of the Athens Regional concludes on Wednesday.
