Vanderbilt split the only two games of the week against Tennessee, winning Friday night’s games 1-0 before losing a late lead in a 9-3 loss on Saturday afternoon Patrick Raby turned in eight scoreless innings to earn the win, scattering five hits and fanning five to win his team-leading seventh game of the season Jeren Kendall provided the game’s only run with a fourth-inning solo home run, his 13th of the season Reed Hayes worked a clean ninth to lock down his sixth save of the year The Commodores blew a late lead on Saturday afternoon giving up nine runs over the final two innings in a 9-3 loss Kyle Wright took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before allowing four runs in the eighth inning to take the loss Reed Hayes and Jason Delay each had two hits in the loss Vanderbilt hosts four games at Hawkins Field this week with Tuesday night’s game against Austin Peay moved to 7 p.m. before hosting Missouri for a three-game series starting Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
