Vanderbilt track & field will be on the road for the second consecutive weekend as they travel to Knoxville, Tenn. for the 50th running of the Tennessee Relays. The Commodores are coming off a strong showing at the Florida Relays last weekend, which included a record-breaking performance from the distance medley relay team. Ranked opponents that will be competing at the Tennessee Relays include No. 2 Kentucky, No. 10 Florida State, No. 12 Tennessee, No. 15 Virginia Tech and No. 18 Ole Miss.
Senior Sarah Goodale will get things started for the Commodores on Thursday as she competes in the heptathlon. Events for the heptathlon that will take place on the first day will include 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and the 200-meter dash. The heptathlon will continue on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. (CT), beginning with the long jump. The heptathlon will conclude with the javelin throw and 800-meter run.
