Vanderbilt track & field is heading down south this weekend for the Florida Relays at the University of Florida. The meet boasts a strong field, which contains 10 women’s programs ranked in the USTFCCCA’s top 25 including No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Kentucky, No. 6 Florida, No. 10 Florida State, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 15 Alabama, No. 16 Miami (FL), No. 20 Virginia Tech, No. 22 South Carolina and No. 23 Ole Miss.
Competition will kick off for the Commodores on Thursday night with Devon Grisbaum, Megan Huebner, Courtney Kriegshauser and Mailin Struck all competing in the 5000-meter run at 8:00 pm (CT).
Action will resume Friday afternoon beginning with junior Jenn Edobi in the 400-meter dash at 12:25 p.m (CT) and will run through Saturday evening, concluding with the Distance Medley Relay at 4:15 pm (CT), which will feature a pair of Vanderbilt relay teams. One relay group features Ginger Hutton, Becca Schulte, Reagan Bustamante and Courtney Clayton, while Maddie Criscione, Sarah Goodale, Kendall Derry and Kriegshauser will make up the second group. Pole Vault (2:00 p.m.) – Caleigh Lofstead and Margaret Ollinger
1500-meter run (7:20 p.m.) – Maddie Criscione, Kendall Derry and Lauren Moffett
Saturday, Apr. 1
Sprint Medley (11:30 a.m.) – Jenn Edobi, Sarah Goodale, Becca Schulte and Lydia Witty
4×800 Relay (3:05 p.m.) – Reagan Bustamante, Maddie Criscione, Kendall Derry and Ginger Hutton
Distance Medley Relay (4:15 p.m.) – Ginger Hutton, Becca Schulte, Reagan Bustamante, Courtney Clayton, Maddie Criscione, Sarah Goodale, Kendall Derry and Courtney Kriegshauser
The meet will be streamed on SEC Network+ on Friday from 11:10-3:10 (CT) HERE and on Saturday from 1:35-6:10 p.m. (CT) HERE.
Vanderbilt’s Caroline Pietrzyk will be competing separately this Friday at the Stanford Invitational in the 5000-meter run. She will race in the third heat at approximately 9:00 p.m (CT). The live results for her race will be available HERE.
