USSoccer.com: Dual-sport student-athlete Simone Charley has been invited to U.S. Soccer’s Under-23 National Team Camp. The Vanderbilt soccer and track and field star is the first athlete invited to participate with both the U.S. Soccer U-23 National Team and the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association U-23 Track team. Leaf Chronicle: On Monday, Clarksville High School faced District 10-AAA opponent Northeast at Vanderbilt’s Hawkins Field in a game that held a significance to both Clarksville and Vanderbilt. Late Commodores’ pitcher Donny Everett, who passed away last summer, starred for the Wildcats as a prep player before arriving on West End. Both teams honored Everett before Monday’s matchup.
